A disability-related charity organisation, Simon Agbotsu Foundation For The Young Disabled (SAFFTYD), is seeking support to hold fun games for young people with disabilities on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
The organisation is calling on state institutions, corporate bodies and individuals to come on board to put smiles on the faces of young men and women with disabilities within the Greater Accra Region.
Some 1,500 youths with disabilities from the 29 districts of Greater Accra will be gathering at the Accra Sports Stadium to partake in various sporting activities, and to make merry.
SAFFTYD initiated the event dubbed YES, I CAN GAMES and LOVE AND LAUGHTER in 2018. It is meant to provide a platform for young men and women with disabilities to exhibit their sporting talents, and also to discover and nurture talents for the country’s Paralympic teams.
SAFFTYD is expecting support in the areas of cash, transport, water, drinks and any other products.
The Founder of SAFFTYD, Mr. Felix Agbotsu is also calling for volunteers who will be assisting the participants.
