The Global Albinism Alliance (GAA) convened a significant side-meeting of albinism organisation leaders from around the world in Prague, Czech Republic, coinciding with the 2025 GlobalSkin Conference.

This was the first in-person meeting for the GAA since its launch in 2020. The heartwarming and energising event brought together representatives from 20 countries spanning all regions of the globe.

Attendees included leaders from albinism organisations in Norway, France, Chile, Burundi, Turkey, Uganda, Australia, Netherlands, UK & Ireland, Mexico, Argentina, USA, Denmark, Côte d’Ivoire, China, Ghana, Brazil, Czech Republic, Tanzania & Malawi.

The gathering provided a valuable opportunity for leaders to connect, share experiences, and discuss strategies for advancing the rights and well-being of people with albinism globally.

The Global Albinism Alliance extended its sincere gratitude to the International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organisations – GlobalSkin for their support in making this important meeting possible.
