The National Coordinator of NDC Women with Disability, Comrade Joyce Gyamfi, has wished aspirants contesting the party’s constituency elections success, urging them to campaign with unity, respect and a shared commitment to strengthening the party.
The elections are scheduled for Saturday, 24 October 2026.In a goodwill message, Comrade Gyamfi described the decision to contest as an act of courage, sacrifice and service to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
She reserved special praise for persons with disabilities who had picked nomination forms to contest, describing them as an inspiration to others who may feel that leadership is beyond their reach.
“You have proven that disability is not inability. Your courage has given hope to many who thought leadership was not for them. Your voice matters, your presence matters, and your victory is the victory of inclusion,” she said.
Comrade Gyamfi said all aspirants should be respected for offering themselves to serve, regardless of the election outcome.
She urged party members to approach the polls with “unity, love, respect and a single purpose” and wished the candidates peace, good health and success.
